Das würde vor allem (aber nicht nur) für die armen Regionen der Erde ein unvorstellbares Entwicklungspotential bedeuten. Afrika könnte das energiereichste Land dieser Welt auf einen Schlag werden und Europa wäre dann echt wenigstens energiemässig vereinigt.... Wollen wir es hoffen !!

Ich halte diesen Weg in der Energieentwicklung sowohl politisch wie auch wirtschaftlich für eine vielversprechende Lösung.

Ich frage mich nur, was Total bei Fracking in den USA zu suchen (...weil in Frankreich nicht möglich ist...?) hat

wieso die amerikanischen Solarwerte so abgehen? Angesichts das an allen anderen Orten die Konkurrenz zu China den Markt völlig zerstört hat macht Sunpower rd. 600% in einem Jahr? Gibt es dafür nachvollziehbare Gründe, bisher konnte ich keine finden?

These highly efficient solar panels will be utilized by Shimizu Corp. for installation at the Eurus Energy mega solar power plant project located in the village of Rokkasho, Aomori, Japan.

Shimizu Corp. will act as the engineering, procurement and construction (“EPC”) provider for the project which is owned by Eurus Rokkasho Solar Park Corporation, a subsidiary of Eurus Energy Group. The project is expected to come online in the second half of 2015.In another deal, SunPower will supply E20/327 solar panels to Obayashi Corp. 27.4 MW of solar panels will be installed by Obayashi Corp. for a mega solar power plant project located in Toyokoro, Hokkaido......

Die SunPower Corporation (San Jose, Kalifornien, USA) und die Digital Federal Credit Union (DCU, Marlborough, Massachusetts, USA) haben vereinbart, dass die DCU SunPower-Kunden in den USA Darlehen zum Kauf privater Solarstromanlagen in Höhe von insgesamt bis zu 100 Millionen US-Dollar gewährt.
DCU soll der Hauptkreditgeber innerhalb eines Konsortiums von 36 Genossenschaftsbanken sein, die das Kreditprogramm für private Photovoltaik-Anlagen unterstützen. Hausbesitzer, die Mitglied der DCU werden, können einen Kredit von bis zu 50.000 USD erhalten, der dann über eine Genossenschaftsbank ausbezahlt wird.

Conclusion

SunPower is very well positioned to benefit from the solar industry recovery. The company boasts best-in-class cell efficiency; it is selling to both large power plants and commercial and residential customers. Profit margins and earnings have increased significantly over the last several quarters, mainly as a result of cost cutting. Revenue growth is still missing, but the turnaround has been impressive so far. Although the stock might seem extended after rising more than 400% since the start of the year, there is still more room for improvement. I believe that SunPower will easily beat Q3 earnings estimates, which are at mid-point of the company guidance, which should drive the stock higher. The broader industry trends are also positive, and should serve as a catalyst for SunPower and other solar stocks.
