Günstig ist sie jetzt auf jeden Fall bewertet und es ist bereits viel eingepreist. Nur die extreme Schuldenlast und die Zinszahlungen bereiten mir nach wie vor hier großes Kopfzerbrechen. In jedem Fall sollte die Aktie ordentliches Erholungspotential haben, sofern der Goldpreis nicht komplett kollabiert. Bei den Großen würde ich Goldcorp und Randgold in puncto "Value Investment" klar vorziehen.

Mining stocks are essentially a leveraged bet on gold prices, and with spot gold still under pressure, Barrick and its peers could still have a lot further to fall this summer. A violation of key support at $7 is a big red flag..

Volumen wird heute auch wieder gewaltig. Ich würde gerne wissen wer da gerade von den großen Finanzhaien stark am mitmischen ist. Das müssen in jedem Fall große Hedgefonds und Banken ganz ganz dick mit dabei sein. Anders ist das Volumen in den letzten 10 Tagen nicht zu erklären..

Am noch sehr frühen Montagmorgen um 3:29 Uhr brach der Goldpreis im dünnen Nachthandel in einem Flash Crash von nur einer Minute um fast 60 US-Dollar ein. Der Verkaufsdruck war so stark, dass binnen dieser einen Minute der Handel sogar zweimal um jeweils 20 Sekunden unterbrochen wurde..

Gold topped in September of 2011. After almost four years of grinding lower the capitulation phase kicked into high gear last week with the worst performance for gold in 19 years. Gold dropped for a near record 12 days in a row in an 8% plunge in the two-week period. The bloodletting may have stopped on Friday as gold sank as low as $1077.90 before closing $22 higher. That's exactly what bottoms look like but the beaten up resource investors will no doubt wait until gold is hundreds of dollars higher before dipping their toes in the water.
